Stroopwafel meets New York: our Dutch twist
What happens when the most Dutch treat there is meets a thick New York style cookie? Meet our Stroopwafel cookie.
We bake New York style cookies in the middle of the Netherlands. So at some point the question was obvious: what if we combined the two?
The idea
A stroopwafel is pure Dutch comfort: thin waffles, warm caramel syrup, best on top of a cup of coffee. A New York cookie is the opposite: big, thick and gooey. Together they turn out to be a perfect match.
What's in it
- A thick, buttery New York style dough
- Caramel syrup
- Real pieces of stroopwafel
How to eat it
The Dutch way: put it on top of your coffee or tea for a minute, so the warmth softens the caramel. Or warm it in the oven for 3–5 minutes at 160°C.
Perfect for
- Visitors and expats: a taste of the Netherlands, New York style
- Business gifts for international clients (request a quote)
- Sinterklaas and Christmas (see our holiday page)
